You've got places to go, things to do, and people to see. And sometimes, all of it happens at once. To make these moments easier, we'll soon be introducing the ability to add an extra stop to Lyft rides. Whether you're picking up a friend or a bottle of vino, just add your stop into the app and your route will instantly update - making it a seamless experience for you and your driver.
How It Works
As usual, select Lyft, Plus, or Premier and set your pickup location.
Tap the 'add' icon to enter your drop-off location. Then, request a ride.
Enter your first stop under 'destination.' Your driver will head here first.
Remove a Stop Any Time
Plans change. If for any reason you don't need to make the stop you added, just tap on it and select 'Remove stop.'
Think of how an extra stop can add to your day - maybe it's grabbing a coffee on the way to work or your dry cleaning before going home. We look forward making this available to you.
